Miata Test Day 1 at Carolina Motorsports Park

What a day I had in Kershaw, SC at the Carolina Motorsports Park!

I want to say a BIG thanks to our friends for many years, Jay Howard Driver Development and Dan Dyszelki for this opportunity and inviting us to test out the Miata on the race track.

I not only got to drive a car for the first time at 12 years old, but I got to practice in my blue Miata race car, which was so exciting.

Saturday started off a foggy day, but started to clear out during the day. My first session was a little tricky since I have never shifted past 2nd gear, since I only got to practice in my dads parking lot. My dad and I rode together first for him to show me the ropes, then it was my turn. I was super excited and I had a blast. My times improved throughout the day getting me up to 93mph and dropping 20 seconds by the end of the day. I can say that is a good first day!
